High School Day Celebration

  FOUNDATION DAY. This is a special day when the entire school family has a chance to reflect. We celebrate that we are blessed with such beautiful surroundings and wonderful facilities. We celebrate the joy of learning as we develop in mind, body and spirit, and we celebrate the bond that we share with past and present members of Ilocos Sur National High School. We celebrated our 117th Foundation day on March 1 and 2, 2019. 

  Every year, schools and universities celebrate their respective foundation days to commemorate the day when the school was founded or established. It is significant not only because of the number of years it has served the community where a school belongs to. It is likewise significant especially if the founding of the school has resulted to considerable benefit to those it serves.

  It is typical for schools to adopt a very festive mood during the commemoration of the Foundation Day. There are field demonstration, parade, search for Mr. and Ms. ISNHS and just about anything that completes a school-wide celebration. 

  The celebration of the School Foundation Day is a very much awaited event. By far, this year’s celebration was the grandest we have seen because it was the 117th founding anniversary. Like all the other years before, it was a 2-day event which highly encouraged students bonding and togetherness.
