Isulong: Tamang Pag-aaruga para sa Lahat ng Bata

 Alam nating lahat at kinalakhan na natin ang kasabihang, "Ang mga bata ay ang pag-asa ng bayan" na sinabi ni Dr. Jose Rizal. Ngunit hindi natin maipagkakaila na unti-unti nang nasisira ang kinabukasan ng mga bata dahil rin mismo sa kanilang mga magulang. Hindi lalaking basagulero o palaboy ang mga bata kung inaalagaan sila ng  maayos. 

  Bilang mga magulang, responsibilad ng nanay at tatay ang tamang pag-aaruga sa anak sa mabuti o maging sa  pinakamasaklap na panahon. Walang bawian ang sitwasyong ito. Susubukin nito ang haba ng pagtitiyaga at pagtitiis ng isang tao nang walang kapalit na sahod. Ang pagiging magulang ang pinakamahirap sa lahat ng mga propesyon sa mundo dahil susukatin nito ang lakas mo upang ipagpatuloy ang responsibilidad mo sa iyong mga anak na walang hinihintay na kapalit.

Nararapat na magsimula  sa tahanan ang tamang edukasyon, asal at disiplina upang maging mabuti at kapaki-pakinabang na mamamayan ang mga bata sa mundo. Sa mga magulang nakasalalay ang magandang kinabukasan ng mga anak ngunit nakadepende rin sa mga anak kung aling daan ang tatahakin niya.

Kung ang isang bata ay lalaking disiplinado at maprinsipyo, siya ay magiging inspirasyon at magiging marangal na ehemplo sa iba kaya napakalaking papel ang ginagampanan ng responsableng paggiging magulang. Nakabatay sa tamang pag-aaruga ang  kaunlaran at kahihinatnan ng isang bansa. Nakasalalay sa tamang pag-aaruga ng mga magulang tungo sa magandang kinabukasan ng mga bata.

Paggamit ng Gadyets, Wag Abusuhin

Sa pagdaan ng panahon, parami nang parami ang naiimbentong mga makabagong teknolohiya para samga tao. Makakatulong ba ito sa pagtahak ng ating landas lalo na sa paggugol ng oras para sa edukasyon? O mas makakasama pa ito at magdudulot ng bunga tungo sa maling landas?

Bilang    estudyante, nakakatulong itodahil mas napapabilis at mas napapagaan nito ang paggawa ko ng mga takdang-aralin at mga proyekto. Malaki ang maiaambag ng teknolohiya at ng makabagong mga kagamitan dahil nakatutulong ito sa atin upang linangin at mas lalo pang pagyabungin ang mga mura nating isipan. Hindi lamang sa pag-aaral ginagamit ang mga ito, marami itong ginagampanan sa buhay ng tao dahil napapagaan nito ang mga mabibigat na gawain at mas nakakatipid tayo sa oras. Ngunit, hindi natin maipagkakaila na marami ngang mga hindi magagandang naidudulot ang mga makabagong teknolohiya. Marami ang nangyayari sa mundo ng Internet dahil nagiging buhay na ito ng mga iba. Maraming mga kumakalat na hindi magaganda sa Facebook at ito ay walang maidudulot na mabuti para sa mga menor de edad at mas natututo pa sila ng mga bagay-bagay na hindi angkop para sa kanilang mga edad. At may mga tao rin na ginagawang buhay na ang mga Gadyets at sinasabi nilang hindi na sila mabubuhay kapag wala ang mga ito. Mas maraming oras na nga ang iginugugol nila sa Internet kaysa sa pakikipagkapwa. Mas nagiging addict na sila sa Internet at marami na ring mga bata ang napupuyat dahil sa kaka-Facebook at hindi ito mabuti para sa kanilang kalusugan.

Konti lamang sa mga nabanggit ang mga magaganda at masasamang dulot ng mga Gadyet pero sana ay maging mulat tayo na hindi magiging permanente ang mga Gadyet at isang araw ay mawawala rin ang mga ito. Wag nating abusuhin ang paggamit ng mga ito at gamitin na lang natin ito kapag kinakailangan.

English Month Celebration

English is the national language that has been used by many people not only Americans and Filipinos. By using this language, we would be able to communicate with other people and using this made our lives more easier.

The National Reading Month is being celebrated on the month of November in which it promotes the love of reading. This year's theme is, "Pagbasa: Susi sa Magandang Kinabukasan" that talks about the importance of reading in achieving great future. In connection to the celebration, schools are conducting a lot of activities like extemporaneous speaking, spelling bee, speech choir and others.

Nowadays, when you do not know how to read, you will have a disastrous life. Reading plays a very important role in one's life, because this is a great help in attaining success in life. You need to read so that you would be able to learn.

All in all, we should think that reading will change our life into something beautiful. Let reading be our hobby. Books, magazines, newspapers, and many more are the things that we should read.

Ugaliing Magtanim, Sapat na Nutrisyon Aanihin (Nutrition Month 2018)

  We are all aware that during July, we always celebrate the nutrition month in our school. Some people say that food is life. Food is important but proper nutrition is more important. They say that we can't live without food and that's true. But how can we be sure that the food we take is clean? Are they really clean? What if foods will not be the same anymore? What if there will be few foods?

        

  We must be always aware on the food we take in. Good nutrition is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Combined with physical activity, your diet can help you to reach and maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk of chronic diseases, and promote your overall health. "Ugaliing Magtanim, Sapat na Nutrisyon Aanihin" the theme says it all, growing fruits and vegetables seems overwhelming to most people, but it’s actually much simpler than it sounds.  All you need is a few square feet of the great outdoors, a water source, and a little time. The theme gave education to all readers and students, it became our motivation and inspiration. 

  We Filipinos, frankly saying, have the attitude of buying the things or food that is more cheap because others can't afford to buy the expensive one. The problem is, we don't know if we are eating healthy foods then it may lead to malnutrition. It is the common illness that the kids are suffering. We must take good care about our health because health is wealth.

Hello Sir, good day! I'm Kaeziel Maxime C. Flores, a student of Ilocos Sur National High School, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur. I wrote this letter because I would like to express my feelings and opinions about the things that you implemented.

I was so sad when I heard the news about "Death Penalty". Everyone has the right to live. We are all aware about the "Human Rights", our rights. It was like you deprived their chance to live long because of that Extra Judicial Killings that you implemented. Every day, many lives have been lost because of that and it was so sad.

I would like to recommend that you should at least let the victim explain his/her side because sometimes although he/she wasn't part of the illegal thing. If he/she is one the part where the illegal doings was being held, police immediately thought that they really part of it. Everyone has the right to speak out and you should listen to them so that it will lessen the lives that will sacrifice. That's all. Thank you, have a good day Sir!

Ancestors, Sacrifices and Freedom

Independence Day is a special day because on this day, everyone enjoys freedom from the Spanish rule since the years of slavery. On this special occasion, that we celebrated every 12th of June, we remember the great figures of people who made significant contributions to the Independence. But are we really giving significance of all their sacrifices?

They dream to be free from all the rulers so that they can do all the things they want to do, they will be the masters of their destiny. Other countries want to colonize our own country maybe because of all our resources that could make their everyday living easier. We, Filipinos should be thankful that although they didn't completely achieved the freedom we really aim, at least they've tried and fight for us, for our own good on the upcoming years. We got our freedom behind all the sacrifices of our beloved ancestors. We celebrate this said occasion to make this a motivation to other so that they would be inspired to do the same thing, although not exactly the same but at least try to retain the good image of our country.

We must not take it for granted, we must give importance of all their sacrifices. We will never be where we are right now not because of them, not because of their sacrifices. Continue building our country so that we will have a developed home.
